Low growth and low inflation will continue in the eurozone for long, says Zsolt Darvas, Senior Fellow at Bruegel, Brussel. Some countries may have difficulties in refinancing their budget deficits.

Darvas thinks that one of the threats that EU faces is the increase of antiestablishment and populist parties. ‘I don’t think they would get the power but their increased popularity will also influence the economic policies of the mainstream parties”, he added.
